Our national service network can assist you with any issue that may arise per our published warranty handbook, it is not necessary that you take your RV back to the dealer you bought it from, any authorised service centre can assist you.
Motorhomes are complex machines and many people are often confused as to why warranty periods differ in some instances depending on the item concerned.
Motorhomes comprise three main components:
- The Chassis – the engine, gearbox, suspension and the vehicle controls and so on. Warranty on the chassis component is offered by the manufacturer of the chassis.
- The Motorhome – body, furniture, and fittings manufactured by Avida are covered under the warranty as offered by Avida Industries.
- The Appliances – refrigerator, air conditioner, television and hot water system to name a few and the warranty for each of these components is offered by the respective manufacturers, just like a normal home – the home builder generally doesn’t warrant the washing machine for example.
You should read your handbook folder to fully understand what is offered on each component of your motorhome. If in doubt, just call Avida Customer Relations for assistance.

Roadside Assist
For peace of mind, Avida offers a free two year emergency roadside assist policy called Advantage Help, with each new motorhome purchased.
Simply by joining the Avida RV Club, Prestige Help, an upgraded two year policy with improved benefits and valued at $395 per annum, is provided free to the purchasers of a new motorhome or can be purchased for only $250.
Avida RVHELP policies have been improved, for instance, customers who experience a break down requiring towing can now be towed free for up to 150km in either metropolitan or rural area whereas under Avida ASSIST the towing limits are 20km in metro areas and 120km in rural locations.

What is involved in servicing a motorhome?
A modern motorhome is a complex collection of systems, including cupboards, cabinets, appliances powered by LPG, electric, or diesel, as well as slide-outs, self-levelling kits, plumbing, and comprehensive electrical systems.
Our services include lubricating tracks and rollers, tightening screws, nuts and bolts, checking and repairing fitment issues or faults, testing all appliances and systems, inspecting gas and electrical connections, checking water systems, and so much more.
Every motorhome is different, so we will always discuss the work to be carried out beforehand with you so you can be sure what will be done and approximately how much it will cost. We pride ourselves in providing transparent quotes and keeping you informed throughout the service process.
Can I tow with my Avida RV motorhome?
The weight rating of your final motorhome configuration will determine what and how much you can tow with your Avida motorhome. Factors include your vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), payload capacity, and tow rating. One of our experienced sales consultants will be able to advise you based on your particular needs and the specific model you’re considering. How do I customise my Avida RV?
Our service and accessories team will walk you through all of the customisation options of interest to you, such as additional solar panels, lithium battery system upgrades, inverters, satellite systems, upgraded entertainment systems, external storage solutions, and other custom accessories.
We source and supply all of the parts and accessories needed for the job, and our experienced technicians fit or craft your items here in our dedicated service centre. All work is completed to the highest standards with proper certification where required.
Do you stamp my logbook
Yes! When your motorhome is serviced with us, we will stamp your logbook to ensure you have an easy reference for the work carried out in your maintenance schedule. We also provide detailed service reports outlining all work completed, parts replaced, and recommendations for future maintenance. This documentation is valuable for warranty purposes and helps maintain your motorhome’s resale value.
How long does a typical service take?
Service timeframes vary depending on the scope of work required. A standard annual service typically takes 1-2 days, while more complex repairs or custom installations may require longer. We’ll provide an estimated timeframe when you book your appointment and keep you updated if any additional work is discovered during the service. For major repairs or modifications, we can often arrange loan vehicles or accommodation assistance.

Yes! We welcome all motorhome brands and models to our Sunshine Coast service centre. While we specialise in Avida motorhomes, our experienced technicians are qualified to work on most major motorhome brands.
We stock a comprehensive range of parts and have established relationships with component suppliers to ensure we can service your motorhome regardless of make or model.
